About our familyWe both became chrisitans at the University of Oregon. I went to seminary in Portland, Oregon and then to Dallas. In my last year at Dallas our interest to work in a Spanish speaking contry was awakened by a message at church on Paul's missionary work and also by my sister an her husband's plans to be missionaries. I was invited to teach a Puebla Bible Seminary in Mexico in 1979. From there we moved into church planting in various cities in Central Mexico. In 1994 we moved back to Oregon to get our kids into college and to start a Hispanic work here in Medford, Oregon. Now in 2004, we have begun a new work in Grants Pass Oregon. MinistryOur work is church planting among Hispanics which involves evangelism, teaching and leadership development. I also prepare study guides for different books of the Bible. I study about 6-7 hours from 6:30am to 1:30pm. Phone calls are then made to Mexico and elsewhere. Then in the evening we have evangelistic or descipleship studies if they say they have bilieved. We also have a men's meeting every other Thursday and a women's meeting every other Tuesday. Sundays and free nights are usually filled with inviting people for lunch or dinner to evangelize or simply to encourage believers. LocationOur ministry is in Rogue Valley, but is centered in Medford, Oregon. Contact Information2071 Mayfield Dr.Grants Pass, OR 97527 Phone: +1 541 857 9091 |
