About our family

I (Ted) grew up in Washington State. After understaning my need of a Savior, I trusted Christ at an early age. After high school I studied at the Moody Bible Institute where I also met Priscilla. After completing our studies at Moody and following our marriage, the Lord lead us to Mexico where we met the Pillettes. Through the Pillettes we came to know of McKinney Bible Church. Last Summer (2002) we were greatly blessed to have a team of young people help us in the construction of the camp we are developing in Mexico.

Priscilla too, trusted Christ as her Savior at an early age. Her parents were missionaries in Guatemala.

Ministry

We are making disciples through camping programs, church planting, in home Bible Studies, and evangelism. We work has been with the existing churches in the area, some urban evangelism, and now a new rural work that the Lord has opened up just outside of Morelia, Mexico. This rural work has now become a primary focus for us.

Location

Our ministry is outside the large city of Morelia in central Mexico. Morelia is at an altitude of around 6000ft and in a low mountainas area. It has a population of around 2-3 million people with a small handful of evangelical churches. Our specific location is about 20 miles outside of Morelia in the mountains that are heavily wooded.
